All reservations for the letting of Sycamore House shall be confirmed in writing by email. A deposit of 25% of the rental cost is payable to confirm the booking. If the booking is within eight weeks of the arrival date then payment is required in full. Non-payment of the balance by the due date stated will be deemed as cancellation of the booking. The balance for payment must be made eight weeks prior to the arrival date. The due date for payment shall be noted in the booking confirmation email. Payment is to be made by bank transfer.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the cancellation is more than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date: If you wish to cancel your booking please notify Pierson by phone or email immediately. Cancellation anytime up to eight weeks prior to the agreed arrival date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. If the cancellation is within 8 weeks of the arrival date (and payment has been made in full): We will endeavour to re-let the property for the period booked. If we are able to re-let the property for the period booked then we will return 75% of all monies paid by you. The 25% deposit will be forfeited as liquidated damages for the breach of contract. If we are unable to re-let the house, then the guest shall be liable for the full cost of the booked rental period.
